Here is the third and final instalment of our Cruise (mis)/adventure! You can catch up on previous parts here: Part 1, Part 2.
We rejoin the adventure moments after I discovered I was covid positive while on a cruise (and would therefore need to isolate in a teeny-tiny, window-less, fresh-airless cabin).
I am speaking to the doctor that gave me the crappy news.
I’ve adored writing and drawing this series for you and I can’t wait to dive deeper into the fabulous bit of magic that is this Great Things journey.Â
In fact, without ever making a conscious decision, I find myself avoiding social media and connecting with a whole new bunch of people here on Substack instead!
Connections here aren’t controlled by algorithms or paid ads. They’re based on genuine interest and consent. It feels cleaner, deeper and so much more empowering than socials.
Another thing I love about Substack is that it uses the model for making money that feels most ethically aligned to me: more people at lower prices. This model favours people with larger audiences. And would you believe that right now, that’s not me? An outrage, I know!
Still, I’m gonna be restructuring my life and business so the bulk of what I do is writing and drawing. I’m quite far from being able to make this my reality right now. But I’m motivated and inspired to make it happen.
I would so appreciate your help.
I’m currently running a New Year Special for paid subscriptions to Great Things. Paid members get everything free members get with added benefits. If you already know me, you know I’m generous AF, so you can look forward to lots of surprises! I’m thinking zoom sessions with me and/or Oron (the collective I channel), distance healings, private in-depth chats, and so much more!Â
If you love me or my work, I would super appreciate you becoming a paid subscriber of Great Things.Â
If you subscribe before the end of December you’ll get 20% OFF FOR THE LIFE OF YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. That means you can now become a paid subscriber for as little as $3.33 USD a month (if you buy the annual subscription)!!
I’ll just put this little button here. You know, in case you wanna click it…
If you suspect someone (or someones!!) you love would appreciate the gift of Great Things, you can now buy them a thoughtful and wildly unexpected gift of a Great Things subscription! (Gift subscriptions are also discounted for the rest of this year.)
And if a paid subscription is not an option for you, but you still wanna support me, then thank you!
If I’m gonna get to focus on this publication as much as I’d like to, I’ll need to grow my audience substantially. Your help in sharing the free version of Great Things with anyone (and everyone!) you feel may enjoy it would be bloody tops!
I appreciate you being here in any capacity. Thank you for inspiring me to write and draw. It’s such a gift.
And if you wanna see the other Abraham-Hicks sketch-notes I made from the final workshop, I’ll upload them to our chat. You can find that on the substack app or by hitting this button:

Thanks again for being here. May your thoughts be light and your days be merry.Â
What a great ending to a funny and genuine tale! I just adore your style- your sense of humor, the font, and the graphics. Looking forward to more posts. And, I agree, Substack just feels "right".
Loved the ending to your story. Glad you were able to get upgraded to a room with a balcony! I laughed when you wrote floating prison. :) I agree with Jana your style of writing is humorous and joyous. Makes me happy when I read your stories.
Thank you for sharing your trip with us. Glad you recovered from covid and hopefully the infection.
Animal love is always great!
