I’ve dedicated most of my life to personal growth and spirituality. For decades, this meant taking it SUPER SERIOUSLY.

I now do something different that’s not only more fun – it's also way more effective. This newsletter explores that.

“I laugh, I cry, I smile, I relate, I anticipate, I get angry. I go on an emotional roller coaster ride when I read your stories.” - Damendica

Who is Great Things for?

Great Things might be for you if you:

  • are sick of feeling like spirituality is all ‘gottas’, ‘musts’ and ‘shoulds’

  • would like a backstage pass to the actual thoughts, experiences, fuck ups and insights of a 20+ year energy healer/channel/meditator trying to live a spiritual life (without being an a dick to herself or anyone else).

  • are fascinated with energy, channeling and how the universe works

  • are a little tired of large blocks of text and would appreciate the joyful interruption of whimsical drawings that either make a point, or make you laugh

  • would welcome a reminder that you’re not alone on the sometimes tricky growth path

  • like the idea of making your inner work more light, playful and effective (even if you have no idea how to actually do it)

“It brings joy and love in an easy-to-read way, but actually nourishes me rather than numbing me like social media … a delightful spark to my day.” - A Reader

So what’s Great Things about?

“It's a newsletter about life that never makes you feel like you're doing it wrong.”

- A Reader

Great Things is the honest sharing of my personal experiences as I attempt to navigate the joys and shit-fuckery of modern life with compassionate self-awareness.

As an energy healer and channel who’s worked with hundreds of people, read hundreds of spiritual books and meditated for thousands of hours (not an exaggeration - I used to track it), I have a lot of spiritual understanding now that I didn’t have before.

Great Things examines my insights, struggles and successes as I try to integrate these understandings into my inner and outer worlds. Taking spirituality from the insular experience of my meditation and my journal pages and out into all aspects of my life.

I want my spirituality to be the place I live from (rather than a thing I do that is separate from my life).

I basically experiment on myself and share the results.

“Medha is rad and writes super honest and insightful illustrated personal stories that are playful and fun to read even when addressing tough subjects (like death and chronic illness!).” - Andrea

What Great Things is not

It’s not a cult. And I should know (I spent years in one and, quite frankly, I’m not a fan)

In fact, clearing up the inner crap that cult experience brought up for me was one of the most transformative and clarifying experiences of my life.

Because of that, Great Things will not tell you what to think or do.

It will NOT make you feel bad about what you are or aren’t doing.

It won’t demand that you agree with my assessments or that you adopt my world view.

Great Things is not about working ON yourself. Its about working WITH yourself. And, in terms of outcomes, that makes a massive difference!

“Humorous. Honest. Uplifting.”  - Kylie

Who is Medha?

If I go to a party, I usually end up eating chips and talking to people about their deepest fears.

I’m an intuitive energy healer and voice-channel (like Abraham-Hicks, but different), so although what I do is technically kinda woo, I’m a hugely practical person who (after swallowing a ton of it), is now utterly allergic to bullshit.

I spent the first half of my life getting a PhD in disempowerment through such delightful experiences as an abusive childhood, poverty, disability, an emotionally abusive romantic relationship and, just for fun, a cult!

The second half of my life is me doing my best to get a PhD in empowerment by putting all the amazing energy and wisdom I get to channel into practice in my daily life. I play, I explore, I learn, I fuck up, I treat myself kindly.

I’m wildly curious about my inner world as well as how the universe works and I want to develop the easiest, most joyful ways to grow, expand and create positive impact - both in my life and in my world.

I do hope you’ll join me!

“It's different from any newsletter I read. I always feel something when I read it. It reminds me that life is hard for everyone and we can be strong together.”  - A Reader

Great Things is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

“Can relate to your struggles and your explanations about life, hard things, and 'd'oh!' moments. You explain them really well and with great respect and love.”

- Sabrina
