sending love to you guys. I’m so sorry your dad had a fall ❤️‍🩹 “We’ve done it” is a poster that needs to be in every room of the house 🫶🏽🫶🏽

I love how the cake says 'WE've done it' instead of 'I've done it'. It relates a great family spirit. Periods like this make you value so much more who you were put into a family with (unless they're assholes. Then it sucks.). Love the photo of all of you. Good luck in these challenging times!

It's amazing how much my relationship with dad has changed since we got the diagnosis. It was a bit complicated. Now it's easy, fabulous and full of unconditional love (in a way it wasn't before). Silver linings, hey?

Medha! What glorious pictures of your family - and the cake looks amazing (although I'm sorry to hear it wasn't all that tasty!).

It looks like your dad's birthday was absolutely wonderful - hurrah! I'm so sorry about his fall. Sending love your way.

Favourite picture? The heart on your t-shirt - it's so clever how it's doing the 'thinky' thing with its hands. You have such a beautiful way of observing the world.

Thank you! Communicating emotions clearly is really important to me, and I'm still learning (probably always will be) - so I appreciate it.

And actually, most of the people in the photo are friends! Dad's siblings are all in South America!

I agree with the quote in Hugo's post "hope isn't just wishful thinking, it's an energy you put forth to create that which you hope for / hold space for it which makes it more likely to occur."

Yeah. Me too. But in the moment, with a bruised heart, I forgot it. But then I remembered!

What’s the difference between an oodie and a hoodie???? (My kids wear hoodies every single day because, fashion. ) I love that family photo! Thank you for writing about your life I love you so much and just basically adore your writing & drawings and always want more more more MORE! I like that the heart on your shirt had its hands up on its head in worry. The last bit after the video was hilarious. And I’m jealous of Karen. I mean, congratulations, Karen. ❤️

An oodie a hoodie are very different things. Instead of trying to explain it, I shall link it here: https://theoodie.com/

And thank you!!!!!!! I love that you told me you thought the after video bit was funny. I loved writing it hehe.

And you don't even need to be jealous. If you ever wanna chat with Oron we can do it in a sessions! Easy Peasy!

I like exploring this topic of hope, when hopeing may cause more hurt if something doesn't turn out how your want it, but not hopeing is not letting life flow. I heard an amazing insight from Kryon/Lee Carol, where they said that hope isn't just wishful thinking, it's an energy you put forth to create that which you hope for / hold space for it which makes it more likely to occur.

I know about the bruised heart - it can make one forget. I'm so glad that you remembered.
