I’m fortunate enough to have a bunch of super conscious friends who know that if I do something that may have unintended negative consequences that I’m not aware of, I’d want them to tell me.
Those friends know that I’d prefer to have my consciousness and perspective expanded, than to hold rigidly to my personal idea of what’s true.
If Awesome Friend hadn’t gone to the trouble of sharing her experience, I’d have no idea that something I was doing to honour the people choosing to support me could potentially have a negative impact. And that’s something I wanna know about!
It takes strength and love to share difficult feedback.
And learning to receive it with self-love (instead of self-criticism) helps us to expand our consciousness by expanding our perspective.
So, will I still be personally thanking the people who decide to become paid subscribers? I haven’t decided yet.
In fact, there was a new paid subscriber this week (you know who you are, and I thank you!).
But I literally could not be MORE interested in your view on this.
Let’s do a poll!
If you have an answer that’s not listed in the poll options, you can write it in the comments by clicking this handy button:
I love hearing from you, so if you already have something to say, then feel free to jump into the comments now. If you’d rather respond to questions, then here you go:
What was your favourite drawing/panel this week?
What’s your relationship to feedback? Both giving and receiving it?
What’s something cool about you that I don’t already know?
Know any good jokes?
All my love to you. Thanks for being here!
The Poll results so far are FASCINATING! Can you all see the results when you look at the post? Or is it just me who can see it because I created it?
Why should you never fall in love with a tennis player...?
To them “love” means nothing.
