I follow a lot of drawing and comic teachers. Some focus exclusively on people who want to create art. Others, Like Georgia Webber, offer something more. Georgia helps people … I’m not sure how to describe it … turn drawing into … a spiritual practice? A process of self-exploration and self-support? A catalyst for profound inner growth?
What a great course! I just restacked your post in Notes so hopefully more people will see it. I loved your drawing and questions in response to the course prompt. I’m definitely wrestling with how to feel safe in the world these days.
There are a ton of things I love about this weeks post and the first thing is that you Medha in Australia and bringing someone back into my life who I knew when I first moved to this city 10 years ago. I met Georgia back then when she was making comics and I love seeing how far her journey has taken her. And the art you created through her class is powerful.
And then you called your thermomixer Daisy. And lastly the best teachers are he ones willing to do it differently <3
Great post, Medha! And thank you so much for the link to Georgia's sessions. 😊

Cool !! I signed up. I am so keen!
Thank you! I signed up. I have zero artistic experience or skill, so this should be fun.
